Dr. Nathan was born in Canada, and he’s extremely passionate about helping patients enjoy smiles that are both beautiful and straight. His enthusiasm for orthodontics is contagious, and his strong work ethic will be sure to provide you with amazing, exceptional results!
As long as he can remember, Dr. Nathan has always excelled in his pursuits and enjoyed himself while doing so. He is a gifted scholar, a skilled athlete, and a great leader. In his college years, he was a star player on his basketball team, even earning the Academic All Canadian award twice.
After he graduated at the head of his class, Dr. Nathan attended graduate school at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Here, he met his wife, Dr. Christine Coughlin, for the first time! During this time, he spent plenty of time working in disadvantaged areas and third world countries like Honduras, providing necessary dental care to people in need. When he graduated from USC, he was presented with both the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award and the “Outstanding Orthodontic Achievement Award.” He also took it upon himself to co-found the Student Professionalism and Ethics Club at USC. At this organization, students are able to freely discuss how to improve the moral values and ethics of dentistry.
Following his schooling, Dr. Nathan underwent further rigorous training to become a Diplomate of Orthodontics. This honor is one that few orthodontists are able to achieve here in the United States.
When he isn’t busy at the dental office, Dr. Nathan enjoys spending his free time with his loved ones, playing basketball, traveling, reading, and play-wrestling with his beloved Golden Retriever.
